Young creatives doing it all *Part2*
We've reported on the YouTube video contest for Buck's 3rd year students. Now I've heard back from their (and my former) tutor Julie Wright that Mother looked through all the movies and decided, almost. Unlike we thought that the winners will be determined by the most views – Mother's creatives rather rated them creatively. The outcome: a tie between these three:

Young creatives doing it all
What do you think, what would young creatives do for a placement in a hot London agency? More than you imagine. They would pick up a chewing gum from the street to chew on it, dance on the street with a face painted on their naked belly, dress up as a granny and jump around in a retirement home or they would even pull a shoe lace through their nose. Here's the deal: Students from the 3rd year advertising course from Buck's university are competing against each other for a placement at Mother. The teams have to make a short video and upload it on youtube. The video which gets the most views will win the race, and the team can enjoy the placement. Sounds like fun. Underneath are most of these videos, we'll update this post when new links will arrive from their tutor in our inbox. Have a look at them, and if you like any, pass them on.
What's your favorite so far? Did you do any strange / intersting things in order to get a placement? We're curious, tell us!

Mommy doesn't love us!
Yesterday evening, a typical cold & rainy one in London, Kris & Val visited Mother in Shoreditch. Afterwards the two of us went for a few drinks and seven packs of crisps, in order to get at least some kind of happiness. Our thoughts this morning? Read on...
Kris Wednesday. The day where the revolution begins. Burn down the book and let's press the Re-start button. Here we go!
Val Yepp, the guys had a very good point, our book is good, and we'll get a placement (somewhere else), but it's not good enough. We have to reach 'the next level'
Kris Mmmm...s even packs of crisps. I could go for it again. Yummy.
Val Are you sure? People will rather think well trying to kill ourselves with a salty overdose of crisps after this book review which got us back into reality (which is: we need a better book).
Kris Ok, better book, more salty dogs 'n beer. Stop this talking we need to work ;-)
Val Can do. Thanks to Rob & Andy for taking time and comment on our book. We will work hard and we'll come back in a few weeks time.
Yesterdays lesson: It's good to fail. Much better then hearing 'Yepp, book's good'. Now we need to fail harder, and embrace the failure, while keeping the optimism. And what's a better place to go next for that then Wieden + Kennedy London? This one's scheduled for this evening. Hello crisps again...
