Hey Guys - gather you're heading to the 7th Syndikate event - drop something on the blog to let us know what it's all about - we've had to pull out at the last moment as some work goes off today.
The 7th Syndikate was a targeted ARG game set up by the V&A to promote it's new 'Cold War Chic' exhibition. 30 or so intrepid creative bLogers met up like the most easy to spot undercover collective in the world! By the time our mark appeared it was so dark our sunglasses made it impossible to see anything but we muddled through until we were lead into the heart of the V&A. When we arrived at the doors of the new exhibition the head of marketing greeted us, announced the ARG game was a bit of a test with the internet community and thanked us all for coming. We were given free beer and snax and invited to look around the exhibition without all those pesky members of the public getting in the way.
The exhibition itself is pretty good, taking us from 1950 cold war competitive design, to the space race, to cold war design ethics in contemporary fashion. It's worth a look round if you're in the area, at least it was when it was free and not crowded!
