This week

Hello there. Back in London. And it seems like it's going to be a hell of a week. On the workshop front we're going to WDMP tomorrow and to Visit Britain on Thursday. Beside getting our stuff together for those sessions we need to spend lots of time on our book so we can go back to see Matt soon. Not much 'portfolio time' is left as we're starting our next placement on the 15th of September. Adam&Eve.

Glad to see you're back - trust you had a good break!

All the best with the workshops and your book... And enjoy the placement.

What happened to TBWA? I though you'd lined up work there? I guess I'm muddling things up and have that wrong.

Just out of interest, how do you fund yourselves? As it seems you haven't worked for a while and London's really expensive, as we all know.

we were supposed to start at TBWA this week but we canceled it. we think there are more chances for a job at A&E as TBWA doesn't have a ECD atm.

we work our asses off to be in london. jai is working part time and i'm doing freelance design.

Nice one.

Hows the workshops going? Are they worth entering?? Just out of interest, do you get paid on your placements??

chaps, i think you were right to miss out on tbwa, they're bang in trouble at the mo.

however, i think adam and eve are just taking the piss and abusing the system. They've got around 7 teams lined up for a month each.

i take this as them getting teams in for cheap labour then kicking em out as they don't really want to hire placements.

Mr Priest is a bit of a snake i've heard, so watch out.

I double that. I've already met two teams who were shafted by Adam and Eve. Watch yourselves there boyos. x

If they've got 7 teams lined up, that's 7 teams who are lucky enough to get some useful experience.

As long as they are not promising jobs, I really can't see the problem.

They get a helping hand (with no promise of the work being up to scratch) while you get experience and hopefully work for your book.

There are rarely jobs waiting to be given. If you're good enough you create them.

Ben Priest has been doing over placement teams since his days at Rainy kelly. Just use them like they use you.

i reckon anonymous 02:48 works for adam and eve.

does anyone know what they've done apart from the gay bisuit thing?

I can't Adam&Eve it!

Watch out for Ben Priest, especially if he's got an apple.
