Please Feed the Animals

Times are rough, the economy's bad. First hand experienced by a senior copywriter from across the pond. Eric lost his job a few weeks ago, and started a blog for newly unemployed advertising people - Please Feed the Animals. I think it's a good read as it's not that different from getting your first job in advertising. Every little helps, right?

Clearly they or they're mates made the youtube film - get your own blog, post about it, write about it, link to it there!!!

they or their even.

no don't, it's shit, don't waste yours or anyone else's time with shit like that.

The emphasis is not post on it here, rather than actually create a blog for such films...

This is meant to be about advertising, about Jai & Wal not some random person linking to their youtube film which is totally unrelated to Wals post.

we're ad students interning in an agency in london. we had two hours to make a viral and spread it. there's no pretentious idea with this - we just had a great laugh making it. i'm both surprised and amused that a little ridiculous film like this can make people that angry. anyway, i apologize if we hurt anyones feelings with posting the link here.

'not that different'

...well there is quite a difference actually - having a job in the first place to loose...

The possibility of loosing a job you have earned the position of and worked bloody hard for for a substantial period of time is a whole different emotion to never getting one in the first place for whatever reason...
