look nice with a nice idea but far, far too easy for a spec book... there is no strategy you are just answering a very easy brief.
sorry to be harsh but a spec book is about doing mad stuff that shows how different you can think to every other team out there.
Hey. NotCot is a place for good design and innovations people find, not a place for advertising students to put their grad work.

And you can't just upload to NotCot, it has to be approved at their end doesn't it? So they obviously thought it worthy to share.

I think its clever, screw everyone else.
It's lazy and maybe shows why a job offer has not appeared yet.
In a student book you should never try to polish an average campaign, it just won't wash.
Maybe try and get a job in graphic design
that was a submission to an award, had to be executed and polished, and the brief was set.

As always the art direction is very good - have you ever considered graphic design Wal as someone previously suggested? You might fair better at that than teaming up in the quest for a job in advertising.
The visuals do feel familiar, but the message is quick and works.
Whether it got in the book or not, unless it won gold it seems frivolous to put it on the bLog I'm afraid to say mate. Wasn't this 2 years ago too?!

You need to be updating your book with recent stuff, and better work than what you did 2 or more years ago at uni.
Didn't you know you don't need a good book to get into advertising anymore, just a 'crazeeeee' blog and some wacky clothes.
Maybe that's where the rest of us are going wrong eh - I should be starting a blog myself! Hmm
Screw all these anonymous gits Wal. I really admire your persistence and your blog is really cool. I have no doubt that you'll get your break and fuck those switching to graphic design suggestions.
