Happy Birthday!

Tam dam! Yesterday was Jai's birthday, he reached the 24th year on this planet. The Blog says Happy (belated) Birthday! Hope the Hangover disappears smoothly :) I also have to recover from a super rainy and muddy Field Day.

  1. Wal, why don't you reply to the comments made about you and the whole getting a job situation...

Yeah, most comments are pretty negative but to not reply on your blog is pretty weird don't you think?

At least stand up for yourself or have a debate, that way you might stop all this negativity, by not saying nothing kind of gives the impression you know best and won't accept any constructive criticism.

Fair play you let people sign in under anonymous, unlike the girls on All About The Crit who seem unable to want top hear anything negative, but have a backbone and bite back man!!!

  7. why would he be embarrassed? he's responsible for half of the shit Walty gets slagged off for but his name barely appears here. He should be all right.

(btw this has to be the gayest post in the entire blog. More kris please.)

  8. BREAKING NEWS
Scamp's account has been suspended. The word on the blogosphere several people reported the blog as 'containing hate speech".

  9. the gayest thing ever on this blog was when wal said jai was gonna put an email dan wieden sent them on his wal, that's amazingly gay.

What's next, getting Creative directors to sign A3 Layout pads?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Jai: Wal, you read that comment abount getting CD's to sign A3 pads?

Wal: Yeah, what do they think we are? muppets?

Jai: That was close, though. Good thing the ones we sent for signing were A4.

    Wal: Yeah, we're cool.

  12. scary, we did indeed have the idea to get creative directors to sign the outside of our book. we're still cool, right?

    ReplyDelete
  13. it depends, is it A3 or A4?
anyway, do as you please and don't pay attention to these tossers.

  14. Happy Birthday Jai!

  15. you should print that and hang it on your wall too. It could be tony davidson.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Don't you mean 'Tony D'.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I'd buy a Tony Davidson signature edition A3 layout pad.

    ReplyDelete
  18. The only way I'd buy such thing is if it had 100 of his ideas waiting for me just to put a logo in them.

Btw, word on the street is Scamp was closed due to fallon juniors and their friends flagging it for 'hate speech'.

I personally doubt it. Not the hate speech thing, the other thing. I find it hard to believe fallon juniors have any friends.

  20. I guess with scamp down you'll be getting lots of traffic this week, Wal.

I work in a top 10 agency and I can assure you at least 3 other people are reading your blog as I type this. One of them a CD.

You should take that as an opportunity to advertise you and Jai. Creatives are watching.

Same thing for the 'all about the clit' girls.

PS. What's with all the flowers Wal?

    ReplyDelete
  21. quick wal, do something wacky and post it!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Wacky? That'll show everyone how dedicated he is to getting a job.

I'm all for a having a bit of fun though!

    ReplyDelete
  23. scamp is back but there's still time while he is ny.
quick, do some doll or hat or something.

    ReplyDelete
  24. The general consensus is that now is your time to optimize on the fact Scamp isn't posting at the moment - so get cracking on something that'll catch everyone's attention!

    We're all waiting in anticipation.

    ReplyDelete
  25. opportunity lost.
scamp's back and you, mates didn't profit from his hiatus.

    ReplyDelete
  26. No need to be turning serious all of a sudden to nick some of scamp's readership. The industry also needs clowns and you fulfill that job enormously.

You guys and your balloons, hats an flower cake antics crack me up.

  27. so much bitterness.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Any news is good news as they say, so all these 'bitter' comments, or negative posts all go to show you're creating great awareness of what you're both doing. If they really though you and your work was so poor, I doubt they'd even spend time to write a comment.

  29. right and we all love bush too.

  30. that reminds me i'd like to see more of kristin. does she have a blog?

ps. wal, what's all that about you getting a placement at fallon? is it true? if it is, hat's off.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Congratulations, wal!
    that's a fantastic achievement!!!!!
    When will that be happening?

    ReplyDelete
  32. don't believe the hype.

    ReplyDelete
  33. pls clarify that Wal.
are you or are you not going to do a placement at Fallon?

    ReplyDelete
  34. we haven't got a placement there yet folks, silly rumours i'm afraid. but fingers crossed, sometime soon.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Quick question: what are the top ten agencies? Is it done by billing or some complicated awards won formula?

    ReplyDelete
  36. A belated, but extremely happy birthday to you Jai!

    ReplyDelete
  37. You going to spill the beans on this Fallon hoax?
